Bartender Opening Checklist(Required) Clock in Pull down bar stools and bar end chairs Turn on power amplifier and music. Turn on bar lights. Make it fun. Turn on dishwasher. Turn on fans if necessary. Turn on fireplace. Set up sanitizer bucket. Setup orange dump buckets. Stock backup receipt paper for both the bar printer and pos. Put empty trash cans back behind the bar. Check all batches, batch according to batch calendar. Count cash drawer, notify management if we need change. Remove blue caps from taps and caps for bitters. Check beer keg levels, and take note of those that are low. Check shrub and syrup levels, notify management if low. Pour all juices, syrups, out into squeeze bottles. Wash containers and refill. Label & Date. Check big cubes, move trays from big freezer and empty them into mini fridge, then fill trays with water and put back into big freezer. Fill your well(s) with ice. SUN-WED= 1 WELL THURS-SAT= BOTH WELLS. Restock well liquors/batches. Stock soda if necessary. Fill your juices. Make simple syrup if needed (equal parts sugar and hot water i.e. 2 cups sugar 2 cups water) Review any specialty cocktails or new drafts with staff. Check dish machine chemical levels, immediately notify management through the Discord App if we need more. Stock all garnishes, wood chips, bamboo picks. Cut limes, lemons, oranges, and stock fruit basket. Stock share plates and rollups for bar. Have a stack of at least 10 on the glass round table. Turn on TVs, tune in to ESPN (channel 209). Or any other sports channel featuring a game. Ensure TVs are wiped down. Use very lightly damp microfiber cloth only. Clean as you go. Make sure the bar is presentable for when guests walk in. Ensure all glassware behind the bar is clean and serve ready. Polish all wine glasses. Restock anything that you use the last of. List 86 items in bar notes. Count drawer before you leave and confirm amount with PM bartender. Turn on open sign. Setup dummy wine glass 6oz water with 2 dashes peychauds bitters.
